Our practice loves brand-new technology, especially when it improves the dental care that we can offer to our patients. Because of this we now offer same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a wonderful new innovation where stunning all porcelain crowns are produced within 2 hours of the prep work of a tooth for a crown. The old process was where the dental practitioner prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a laboratory to have the crown constructed. Throughout this time the patient would need to have a short-term plastic crown that was normally uncomfy.

Today, our equipment enables us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a new all porcelain crown within two hours. This means that the patient leaves our practice with the final crown that day!

  • There is no need to wear a temporary crown for 2 to 3 weeks.

  • There's no need to return once again to have the one day crown placed on your tooth.

  • There's no need to be numbed once more! No more shot needles!

Our practice likes same day crowns since it is made of gorgeous material and also incredibly durable.

If your thinking about a same day crown, please give our office a call.

We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are typically minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable methods rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
