Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Detecting issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
