Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art innovation allows your dental practitioner to take accurate pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns offer unparalleled convenience, value, and accuracy to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of three basic steps. First, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take extremely precise images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Second, he downloads these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, designs your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dentist will send the design to their in-office accuracy milling machine which produces the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for extra strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will put it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Advantages Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to create our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer unparalleled strength, sturdiness, chip and stain resistance, and natural appeal.

Precision-fitted same day crowns require less tooth prep work and maintain more of your tooth structure.

Conventional crowns need 2 office visits. With same day crowns, you can come into our dentist's office for an appointment and leave with a beautifully restored tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and potential threats connected with uncomfortable short-term crowns.

Today's Topic Will Be About:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are typically minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive means instead of through a more pricey dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
