Same Day Dental Crowns In Only One Visit

If you choose same day crowns, your experience will be quite different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dentist will apply a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take photos of your tooth. Your brand-new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You may choose to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using cutting-edge adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You don't need numerous appointments. Simply one trip and you leave with your long-term crown! Now that should give you something to smile about!

If you have actually been thinking about a crown, speak with us about it today.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

Today's Topic Is:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of a lot of clients, there are multiple methods to whiten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that will lighten teeth dramatically. Because tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize numerous methods: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 various strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and practical lightening procedure. The visit is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
