Our whole dental practice is state-of-the-art, except for our patient care and issue which is traditional. We understand the pain missing teeth can cause patients, and because of that we are extremely happy to be able to provide patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be spotted by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely exciting offering of our practice. We have the ability to offer you with a stunning new smile in simply one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that allows dentists to supply you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was required before.

CAD/CAM innovation is what makes this exciting advancement possible. The acronym stands for computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send the details to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. Once the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a stunning and natural-looking appeal. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business occasion, this process may undoubtedly be ideal for you. If you are interested in finding out more about this process, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Topic Is:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a really thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a stunning and appealing smile.

Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the perfect solution in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to the majority of dental restorations, veneers might at some point require replacement; however, they are still extremely durable and will last multiple years, providing you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique usually involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique generally involves two appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a temporary covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory produced veneers are normally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the treatment is normally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your new and lovely veneers.
