What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dentist will go over the details of the treatment and your dental practitioner will answer any concerns you may have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to develop your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Today Were Discussing:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific scenarios where a tooth has actually been damaged or become stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable methods rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
