  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, which eliminates significant potential pain and inconvenience of a lost short-term restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No standard impressions means no gagging.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new innovation restores your teeth to their natural durability, charm, and function and carefully match the structure of natural tooth structure.

  • Durability: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain lovely for many years!

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device created to replace missing teeth. The device is usually constructed out of titanium and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and traditional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some individuals, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels extremely natural. Surgically positioned below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and function as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants offer stability since they fuse to your bone, a process called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit is more comfy than traditional replacements. Prospects for dental implants have to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

What's Involved In Having A Dental Implant?

A dental implant might be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this treatment, a small titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which in addition slows or stops the bone loss that occurs when the root of a natural tooth is missing. Once the implant is firmly set in the mouth, the dentist then works to attach the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth wear out, another can simply be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be utilized as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an option to partial dentures, and has numerous advantages. First, there is no modification period to acclimatize the patient who, as soon as the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no pain or problem in eating. And, best of all, of course, they don't need to be taken out all the time.
