Same Day Crowns At Your Regional Family Dentist

Same Day Crowns technology has actually changed how dental procedures will be done forever. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to restore broken teeth, it used to suggest multiple visits, a great deal of inconvenience, and frequently a great deal of money.

This new technology makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is comprised of numerous computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling device that creates customized ceramic restorative devices. It also can make nearly any ceramic restoration to order, indicating the dentist can place it instantly. This is of fantastic benefit to a worried patient, and it can also lower the cost of treatment.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive methods rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
