Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.
The entire mouth is analyzed and a decision is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal functionality and look return and one just carries on as usual. Commonly implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.
It is important to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your confidence in social circumstances, and even your self-esteem.
A Few Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:
- All Teeth missing in the same arch
- Restore chewing ability
- Restore a natural looking smile
- Economical alternative to other treatments
An upper complete denture will almost always feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower full denture, we frequently suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly enhance comfort. Often, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has been in use for a number of years.
