Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now usually unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We provide this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding higher convenience to the procedure of getting a crown. The waiting time in between your procedure and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown innovation is an instrument that allows ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be carried out in one check-up instead of 2. The computer coordinates with a digital camera allowing the dentist to make digital impressions without the discomfort of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your customized crown right away so that we can cement your new crown that same day. The outcomes we see are fantastic. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are superb.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a full scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Topic Is About:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are multiple methods to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will bleach teeth significantly. Because tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize a number of approaches: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 various strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the higher the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and convenient whitening procedure. The appointment is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment since it is so easy and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
