Why Choose Single Day Dental Crowns?

There are lots of benefits of single day crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a short-term crown, which removes significant possible discomfort and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No conventional impressions means no gagging.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new technology restores your teeth to their natural durability, beauty, and function and closely match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Durability: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Because they are constructed of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury consisting of silver fillings and tougher because of bonding technology.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a stunning and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with a lot of dental restorations, veneers may someday need replacement; however, they are still extremely durable and will last many years, offering you a long lasting, lovely smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental procedure where a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique normally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect method typically involves 2 appointments because the veneers will be produced at a dental laboratory. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a temporary covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory made veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the treatment is generally less unpleasant. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
