Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Porcelain Tooth Veneers
Veneers are a really thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a stunning and appealing smile.
Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.
Similar to most dental restorations, veneers may someday need replacement; however, they are still really resilient and will last years, giving you a long lasting, lovely smile.
How Are Veneers Set?
Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct strategy normally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is typically referred to as bonding.
The indirect strategy usually involves two visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.
You will receive care directions for your veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
