Why Choose Same Day Crowns?

There are numerous benefits of using same day crown over traditional crown innovation.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, conserving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial possible discomfort.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, appeal, and function, and carefully match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the traditional method of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Because these fillings are constructed out of porcelain, they are more durable than white composite fillings.

The Discussion For Today Is:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a really thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a beautiful and appealing smile.

Veneers can completely improve your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to many dental restorations, veneers might at some point need replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last years, giving you a long lasting, lovely smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy normally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique generally involves 2 visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is normally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care directions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new and beautiful veneers.
