Single Visit Crowns Near You

Requiring any kind of dental work completed can feel like a hassel, but it is essential to follow up on when it comes to maintaining your oral health. Some people may put off visiting their dentist or having certain dental treatments finished merely because they think that the ordeal might take up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is simply not the case, as we can provide our clients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Even though dental crowns are considered in addition to other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly improve any individual's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to fix the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most typically, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure wherein a part of the tooth mass is eliminated in order to get rid of decayed parts of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can function as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the client.

Often, dental crowns take some time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the patient uses a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can provide clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us multiple times before restoring your tooth, we can offer you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you require a dental crown, you will not need to wait and arrange a number of visits. Our staff and dentists will provide you with all the services that you require in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten because you do not have the time. If you wish to find out more about same day dental crowns, call us and arrange an appointment today.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of most clients, there are a number of methods to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Because tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous techniques: customizeded tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the greater the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and practical lightening procedure. The appointment is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment since it is so simple and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
