Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this new technology it allows dentists to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can make natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous appointments to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can take pleasure in a dazzling, natural looking, and resilient solution for your missing or broken teeth today.

First, your dental practitioner will meet with you to talk about the information of the treatment. Throughout the procedure, the dental practitioner will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique camera to take a picture of your tooth.

Using the new software, the photo functions as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to produce your restoration piece from ceramic.

Lastly, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth significantly. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous approaches: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of everyday use. 3 various strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and practical bleaching process. The visit is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients love this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays should be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
