Same Day Crowns At Your Regional Family Dentist

Same Day Crowns technology has changed how dental treatments will be done forever. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to fix damaged teeth, it used to mean multiple appointments, a lot of hassle, and typically a lot of money.

This brand-new innovation makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is comprised of numerous computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling device that creates custom-made ceramic restorative devices. It also can make practically any ceramic restoration to order, suggesting the dentist can put it right away. This is of great advantage to a worried client, and it can also minimize the cost of treatment.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

The Conversation For Today Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
