Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Porcelain Veneers (Teeth)
Veneers are a really thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile.
Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.
Just like most dental restorations, veneers might one day need replacement; however, they are still very resilient and will last many years, offering you a long lasting, lovely smile.
How Are Veneers Placed?
Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct technique generally involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is normally referred to as bonding.
The indirect strategy typically involves 2 appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory produced veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is usually less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.
You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and gorgeous veneers.
