Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns address visual needs, fix tooth function, and boost the general health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can secure and preserve the rest of the natural tooth.

To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal therapy, a crown is generally positioned over the remaining tooth structure to preserve aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today's Topic Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Finding problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
