Arrange an appointment for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent innovation for same day crowns.

We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Same Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your visit, you and your dentist will talk about the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will answer any concerns you may have regarding the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new proprietary software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to develop your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of most clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth lightening system that will lighten teeth significantly. Since tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple approaches: customizeded tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab fabricates into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is suggested for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and hassle-free lightening procedure. The appointment is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment since it is so simple and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
