Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit permitted the short-term crown to be eliminated and a brand-new permanent crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work easier for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one visit with a little camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This indicates a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This technology can create the new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those issues you may have been avoiding.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

Today's Subject Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
