Crowns In Only A Day

What takes place when a tooth becomes severely decayed or broken? It needs to be capped with a crown; otherwise, you may have to replace it later.

Replacing your tooth with a crown now will not just assist you to restore your smile's performance, it will also help you to protect|safeguard|secure} the root beneath.

Protecting both is crucial to having a healthy smile
In the past, using a conventional crown to fix a tooth and protect the root below took a minimum of 2 appointments to the dental practitioner.

At the first appointment, the dentist would prepare the tooth and then take an impression, which would be sent out to a dental laboratory. While the lab fabricated the permanent crown, the client would have a temporary crown to secure the tooth.

When the permanent crown arrived back in the dental practitioner's office, the client would return to have the crown sealed or adhesively bonded into position.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Ultra Sonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for a lot of adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar in the process. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help preserve optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling commonly uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is barely noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with delicate teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and then polished.
