Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
