Why Are They Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art technology enables your dentist to take precise pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and place a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns provide unparalleled convenience, value, and accuracy to our patients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure includes 3 fundamental steps. 1st, your dentist uses 3D imaging to take highly accurate photos of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Second, he downloads these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dentist will send out the design to their in-office accuracy milling device which creates the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will put it on your tooth.

What Are The Advantages Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to produce our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer unparalleled toughness, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural charm.

Precision-fitted same day crowns require less tooth preparation and maintain more of your tooth structure.

Conventional crowns need two office appointments. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a perfectly fixed tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and possible risks related to uncomfortable short-term crowns.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Dental Dentures

There are various types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is analyzed and a decision is made about which teeth will need to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal capability and appearance return and one just continues as usual. Frequently implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is important to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you are able to eat, your confidence in social scenarios, as well as your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper full denture will usually feel much better than a lower full denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower full denture, we often suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
