Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
