We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a innovation for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your appointment, you and your dentist will discuss the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will answer any questions you may have relating to the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new proprietary software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's suitable shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today Were Discussing:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific scenarios where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. These are generally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive ways instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
