Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd check-up allowed for the short-term crown to be eliminated and a brand-new permanent crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work more convenient for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one check-up with a small camera to develop a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This means a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer required.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can create the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding product, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today to learn more about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those problems you might have been postponing.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
