Same day crowns are an advanced dental technology that is utilized for the restoration of decayed, broken, or chipped teeth. This innovation can create complete crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers. The same day crown device crafts a restoration in a matter of minutes.

Same day crown restorations are made of compressed porcelain. It is for this reason that they are more durable than laboratory restorations, which are layered porcelain. The most beneficial feature of getting a same day crown restoration is that it is accomplished in one visit. In addition to the advantage of a one visit restoration, there is no uncomfortable impression material to bite on or a temporary crown to wear.

The procedure for positioning of a same day crown restoration is very basic. The first step is to get rid of all decay from the tooth. The dentist will then form the tooth in preparation to take a digital photo. The tooth is then sprayed with a really fine powder. This permits the digital camera to take an appropriate image. Once this image is recorded, the tooth will appear on a computer screen in 3D. This will allow the dental practitioner to create the restoration right in front of you.

Once the design is completed, the same day crown machine will mill the restoration. This step takes roughly 15 minutes. You can actually watch this procedure if you would like. When the restoration is completed milling, the dentist will position the restoration on your tooth.

Today's Subject Is:

UltraSonic Teeth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for a lot of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microbes and eliminating plaque and tartar in the process. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can eliminate tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling typically uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly perceptible. This makes ultrasonic cleaning ideal to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is quicker than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and then polished.
