Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd visit permitted the short-term crown to be eliminated and a brand-new long-term crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work easier for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one check-up with a small camera to produce a 3D picture of the tooth that has to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This innovation can create the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today to find out more about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you may have been avoiding.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of the majority of patients, there are numerous ways to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize numerous techniques: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel might be used, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is advised for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and hassle-free whitening process. The visit is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment since it is so simple and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
