Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Temporal Mandibular Joint
TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are associated with the area. If something fails a good deal of trouble can result.
Problems in this area can cause:
- Pain in the jaw muscles.
- Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.
- Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.
- Clicking or popping of the jaw.
Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling gaps between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Sometimes a plastic mouthpiece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the issue. If unattended and taken to extremes, surgery might be needed to fix a severely damaged joint.
