How Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this new technology it enables dental practitioners to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can make natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make multiple appointments to the dentist's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can enjoy a dazzling, natural looking, and resilient solution for your missing or damaged teeth today.

Initially, your dental practitioner will meet with you to talk about the information of the procedure. During the procedure, the dentist will apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take an image of your tooth.

Using the new software, the image serves as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to develop your restoration piece from ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth stronger and more lovely - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Today Were Discussing:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Finding issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
