We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dentist a second time if you don't need to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Schedule a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent innovation for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a innovation for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will talk about the details of the procedure and your dentist will answer any concerns you might have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new proprietary software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's appropriate form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

The Topic For Today Is:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is required when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover issues early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also trigger the nerve to be damaged to the point it requires root canal treatment. As soon as this takes place, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it needs to be treated, and can not recover on its own. It can even damage the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and may be really painful. Symptoms that the pulp has become infected might include sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. In some cases, however, no signs appear and the individual is unaware of any issue until a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. As soon as the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any additional infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is suggested for recovering a tooth that has had root canal therapy.
