Same Day Crowns In Only One Visit

If you select same day crowns, your experience will be fairly different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dentist will apply a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take images of your tooth. Your brand-new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You may decide to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using state of the art adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You don't need multiple appointments. Simply one trip and you leave with your permanent crown! Now that ought to give you something to smile about!

If you have actually been thinking about a crown, speak to us about it today.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Topic Will Be About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
