Thanks to ingenious modern technologies, we are proud to present the capability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in just one appointment! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a little camera, a special camera created just for this function.

Then, the brand-new software analyzes the whole image and uses the results to calculate a variety of outstanding restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are analyzed and improved by the dentist and the final restoration plan is selected.

Finally your brand-new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to help you.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
