Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.
CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Porcelain Tooth Veneers
Veneers are a really thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a gorgeous and attractive smile.
Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.
Just like a lot of dental restorations, veneers might someday require replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last years, giving you a long lasting, lovely smile.
How Are Veneers Placed?
Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct method generally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is generally referred to as bonding.
The indirect strategy usually involves two visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.
You will receive care instructions for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your new and stunning veneers.
