Single Visit Crowns Near You

Needing any kind of dental work finished can feel like a hassel, but it is essential to follow up on when it pertains to maintaining your oral health. Some individuals might put off visiting their dental practitioner or having particular dental procedures finished merely because they believe that the ordeal might take up too much of their time. When it pertains to same day dental crowns that is simply not the case, as we can offer our patients with same day dental crowns should they need it.

Although dental crowns are considered in addition to other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly improve anybody's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to restore the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure wherein a portion of the tooth mass is eliminated in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can work as it once did, fixing the oral well being of the client.

Often, dental crowns take some time to process and are crafted in a lab while the client wears a temporary crown in its stead. Now we can offer patients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us multiple times before restoring your tooth, we can provide you with a crown the same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you require a dental crown, you will not need to wait and set up a number of visits. Our personnel and dentists will provide you with all of the services that you require in a single appointment to work around your busy schedule. Don't let your dental health go forgotten due to the fact that you don't have the time. If you would like to learn more about same day dental crowns, call us and set up an appointment today.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of most clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth significantly. Since tooth whitening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize numerous methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and practical whitening process. The visit is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment since it is so simple and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
