Get A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve visual needs, restore tooth function, and enhance the general health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can secure and maintain the rest of the natural tooth.

To boost your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is typically put over the remaining tooth structure to protect aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

The Discussion For Today Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific scenarios where a tooth has actually been damaged or ended up being stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive means rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
