NEW SMILE IN ONE DAY

Updated On Friday, August 17, 2018 08:58:59 AM

Same day crowns are a dental restoration innovation that allows a dentist to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using computer-assisted technologies, including 3-D photography and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing).

Same day crowns allows dentists the versatility to restore teeth in a single sitting with a client, instead of the multiple appointments needed with other methods!

Same day crowns have been proven by numerous clinical studies and is offered by countless dentists to countless clients worldwide each year!

Same day crowns not just saves you money and time, it can also save your teeth!

Dental X-rays are unable to penetrate metal crowns, making any decay undetectable till it was far too late.

Same day crowns use a strong porcelain that x-rays can penetrate. This indicates any decay underneath the restoration can be discovered and fixed before it ends up being a major issue.

Since same day crown innovation use a milling device to mill the ceramic into your customized restoration, the porcelain is stronger than those developed by hand. And, the computer-assisted innovation can create an almost similar restoration of the previous tooth.

Same Day Crown Restorations

The Discussion Of The Day Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
