Why You Should Get Single Visit Dental Crowns?

There are lots of benefits of using same day crown over traditional crown innovation.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, conserving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no need for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial potential discomfort.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function, and carefully match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown product and technology can also be used for fillings. Because these fillings are constructed out of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Temporal-Mandibular Joint

TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, injury, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are associated with the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can cause:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble or soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouthpiece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the problem. If neglected and taken to extremes, surgery may be required to repair a severely damaged joint.
