Set up a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Day Crowns?

It is a innovation for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your visit, you and your dental practitioner will go over the details of the treatment and your dentist will answer any concerns you may have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the new proprietary software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's appropriate shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

Today's Subject Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth bleaching system that will whiten teeth considerably. Since tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize a number of techniques: custom made tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 various strengths of gel may be used, however, the greater the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and practical lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients enjoy this treatment since it is so simple and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
