Our practice loves new innovations, specifically when it improves the dental care that we can provide to our patients. Because of this we now provide same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a fantastic new innovation where beautiful all porcelain crowns are developed within 2 hours of the preparation of a tooth for a crown. The old procedure was where the dental practitioner prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a lab to have the crown built. Throughout this time the client would need to have a short-term plastic crown that was normally uncomfy.

Today, our equipment enables us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a brand-new all porcelain crown within 2 hours. This means that the patient leaves our office with the final crown that day!

  • There is no need to have a short-term crown for 2 to 3 weeks.

  • There's no need to return again to have the same day crown placed on your tooth.

  • There's no need to be numbed once again! No more shots!

Our practice prefers same day crowns due to the fact that it is made of stunning material as well as extremely durable.

If your interested in a same day crown, please give our office a call.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today's Subject Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
