Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The very first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a second check-up enabled the temporary crown to be eliminated and a new long-term crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work easier for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in simply one check-up with a small camera to develop a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can develop the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding product, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today to learn more about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you may have been postponing.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint)

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint might be triggered by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle stress. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are associated with the area. If something fails a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can cause:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces in between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouth piece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the issue. If untreated and required to extremes, surgery may be needed to repair a terribly damaged joint.
