  • Less time in the dental practitioner's chair!

  • No more unpleasant impressions

  • No need to get a short-term crown

  • Digitally matches the color of your tooth

Exactly What Is A Dental Crown?

A crown is a cap made to cover a tooth with the function of restoring it to its natural shapes and size or to enhance its look. To prepare for the crown, dental practitioners drill to remove the decayed area and also form the tooth to prepare for the crown for that part which lies around and above the gum line.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Discovering problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
