We have excellent news! Now you can have your dental crown created and put in a single visit.

No annoying temporaries or repeat visits!

With CAD-CAM Technology our dentists are able to create your crown while you wait.

Our practice has invested in the same day crown restorative technology to offer our clients with custom-made crowns, inlays and onlays in the convenience of our office.

Using a unique optical impression, we obtain a digital image of your existing teeth and develop your brand-new restoration to fit your bite. With a large shade selection, your new restoration will look like your natural teeth.

We know you are busy! Many of our patients that have experienced same day crown dentistry have talked about just how much they liked taking less time out of their schedule to have their crown carried out in a single appointment.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Discussion Of The Day Will Be:

Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is necessary when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and find problems early). In some cases deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also trigger the nerve to be harmed to the point it needs root canal treatment. When this takes place, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it should be treated, and can not recover on its own. It can even weaken the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and might be really uncomfortable. Signs that the pulp has actually ended up being infected might include sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no signs are apparent and the person is unaware of any issue up until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. Once the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any additional infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is recommended for recovering a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
