Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This advanced technology allows your dental practitioner to take accurate images of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single appointment. Same day crowns offer unparalleled convenience, value, and accuracy to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown process consists of 3 fundamental steps. 1st, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take extremely precise photos of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Second, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, designs your custom-fitted crown. Third, your dental practitioner will send out the design to their in-office precision milling device which produces the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will position it on your tooth.

What Are The Advantages Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to produce our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer incomparable toughness, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural beauty.

Precision-fitted same day crowns require less tooth prep work and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns require 2 office appointments. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a beautifully fixed tooth.

You can prevent the trouble and possible threats connected with uncomfortable temporary crowns.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of the majority of patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth considerably. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple methods: customizeded tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of everyday use. Three various strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and hassle-free whitening process. The visit is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment since it is so simple and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays ought to be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
