Get A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve visual requirements, fix tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have big broken down fillings, a crown can secure and preserve the rest of the natural tooth.

To boost your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is generally positioned over the remaining tooth structure to maintain visual and tooth function.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of many patients, there are numerous methods to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth considerably. Because tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the lab fabricates into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of daily use. 3 various strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient whitening process. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment since it is so easy and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
