How Can Same Day Crowns Benefit Me?

With this new innovation it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in as little as one hour. With this, we can make natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous trips to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with short-term restorations - you can take pleasure in a dazzling, natural looking, and durable solution for your missing or broken teeth today.

Initially, your dental practitioner will meet with you to discuss the information of the procedure. During the procedure, the dentist will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique camera to take a photo of your tooth.

Using the brand-new software, the picture functions as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to develop your restoration piece out of ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Today's Topic Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
