Why Choose Single Day Crowns?

There are lots of advantages of single visit crowns over traditional crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, which removes significant possible pain and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one visit means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was formerly treated with a root canal. No conventional impressions resulting in no gagging.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new technology restores your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function and closely match the structure of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay beautiful for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Because they are made out of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury containing silver fillings and tougher because of bonding technology.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in certain situations where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive ways instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
