How Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this brand-new technology it allows dental practitioners to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can produce natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you relax. Now, there is no longer a need to make multiple appointments to the dentist's office to be measured and fitted with short-term restorations - you can take pleasure in a brilliant, natural looking, and durable solution for your missing or damaged teeth today.

Initially, your dentist will consult with you to talk about the details of the treatment. During the procedure, the dental practitioner will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take a photo of your tooth.

Using the brand-new software, the picture acts as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to produce your restoration piece from ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. Today Were Talking About:

Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover issues early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be harmed to the point it needs root canal therapy. Once this takes place, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it must be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even weaken the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and might be very unpleasant. Signs that the pulp has become infected might include sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, discomfort to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no symptoms are apparent and the individual is unaware of any problem until a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and disinfect the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. When the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Typically a core build-up and crown is recommended for recovering a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
