If you have a fractured or broken tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or wish to remove unsightly metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great choice for you. Dental Crowns cover the visible surface area of the affected tooth, adding resilience and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we offer on a case by case basis to patients who would benefit from the treatment. They enable clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their permanent dental crown in place that same day. This eliminates the need to have a short-term crown placed then another visit arranged for the positioning of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new innovation that scans the mouth to get the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are extremely strong and durable and constructed of the highest quality porcelain available. In many cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clench your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the cost may differ between the two and you may want to talk about your budget plan too with the your dentist. Your dentist will go over with you the types of crowns available and offer you a suggestion based on your certain situation.

Call us to schedule a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to talking to you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Subject Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific scenarios where a tooth has actually been damaged or ended up being stained. These are typically minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable means rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the positioning of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
