Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd visit allowed for the temporary crown to be removed and a brand-new permanent crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work more convenient for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown innovation to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one check-up with a little camera to produce a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding product, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those issues you might have been postponing.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific circumstances where a tooth has been broken or ended up being stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable ways instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
