Same Day Dental Crowns Near You

Requiring any type of dental work completed can seem like a chore, but it is necessary to follow up on when it comes to maintaining your oral health. Some individuals might postpone visiting their dental practitioner or having certain dental procedures finished simply because they believe that the ordeal may use up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is just not the case, as we can offer our patients with same day dental crowns should they need it.

Even though dental crowns are considered in addition to other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly enhance anybody's oral health. Dental crowns are mostly used to fix the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most commonly, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure wherein a part of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed parts of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore exactly what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can work as it once did, fixing the oral well being of the patient.

Sometimes, dental crowns require time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the client uses a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can provide clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of needing to visit us multiple times before restoring your tooth, we can provide you with a crown the same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not have to wait and arrange numerous appointments. Our staff and dentists will supply you with all of the services that you require in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten because you don't have the time. If you would like to find out more about same day dental crowns, call us and set up an appointment today.

The Topic For Today Will Be:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of the majority of patients, there are multiple ways to bleach teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple approaches: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is recommended for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient lightening process. The appointment is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
