SAME DAY DENTAL CROWN

Updated On Tuesday, September 18, 2018 01:31:20 PM

Thanks to innovative modern day technologies, we are proud to present the ability to supply you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one visit! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a little camera, a special camera developed just for this purpose.

Then, the brand-new software analyzes the entire image and uses the results to compute a number of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are analyzed and improved by the doctor and the final restoration strategy is picked.

Finally your new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you wish to understand more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today Were Discussing:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable means rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
