Why Opt For Same Day Dental Crowns?

There are lots of benefits of using same day crown over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial potential pain.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, appeal, and function, and carefully match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the standard approach of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain gorgeous for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown product and technology can also be used for fillings. Given that these fillings are made out of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of many patients, there are a number of methods to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple approaches: custom made tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and hassle-free whitening procedure. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment due to the fact that it is so simple and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
